About this event

What if I told you that receiving help for your mental health is NOT a right for everyone? What if you discovered that numerous Sorors and Fraternity Brothers often feel out of options and decide to take their own lives as a first resort? What if I told you that members in our own Chapter have been and are currently struggling to keep things afloat and just might be considering suicide, as well?

As a community-conscious, action-oriented organization, we have a duty to ourselves, our stakeholders, and our allies in the community to protect our principles of Sisterhood and Service in a Finer way. In honor of National Suicide Prevention Month, please consider donating at least $5.00 (for our triumphant founders) to support the Mental Health efforts of our Chapter in the community. Your donation of time or monetary blessings will support our participation in NAMIWalks Georgia in honor of World Mental Health Day in October!

Part of what makes us so "kaptivating" is our desire to give back and build leadership! We serve, we uplift, we empower, and we encourage! Let's lead by example and support those who need our mental health privilege to advocate! (TO WALK AND/OR DONATE CLICK THE ATTACHED LINK). Thank you! - Dr. J
