Our Community Partners

The National Council of Negro Women is partnering with black doctors to tell us the truth about the Covid-19 vaccine. Good Health WINS begins with education. Our advocates understand the importance of immunizations and are working to create an infrastructure for good health. This is achieved by reducing health disparities, increasing vaccination opportunities, vaccination education and identifying the drivers of vaccine hesitancy.

Kappa Iota Zeta chapter selected ASA G. Hilliard Elementary School as our school for our Adopt-A-School program.

Asa G. Hilliard Elementary School (formerly Mount Olive Elementary) was renamed in memory of Dr. Asa Grant Hilliard III, a Georgia State University college professor and former San Francisco State University dean who died in 2007. Dr. Hilliard was married for nearly 50 years to the Honorable Patsy Jo Hilliard, former mayor of East Point, GA and former school board member for the South San Francisco Unified School District.

Kappa Iota Zeta chapter is proud to partner with Westlake High School

The Westlake Magnet Program seeks to provide an environment that celebrates and cultivates each student’s unique worth, dignity, and ability. The magnet experience empowers highly capable students, encouraging them to interact with their intellectual peers in academic, creative, aesthetic, and social endeavors. Ultimately, magnet students will not only develop the skills necessary to succeed academically but will also grow into life-long learners, responsible citizens, and contributors to the betterment of society.

The Magnet Program accomplishes this mission through:
1. Relevant and rigorous curricular exposure
2. Field-based learning opportunities
3. Supportive relationships
