2026 Scholarships

Kappa Iota Zeta Chapter and the Zeta Amicae of East Point proudly support Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.'s principle of Scholarship through the Marynette B. Lovejoy Book Scholarship, the Zora Neale Hurston Humanities Scholarship and the Haroldine Crowder Book Scholarship. Awards provide financial assistance to female high school seniors in the metro Atlanta area pursing higher education at an accredited four year college or university.


Zora Neale Hurston Humanities Scholarship

The Zora Neale Hurston Scholarship is a non-renewable scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors in the Atlanta metropolitan area who plan to major in anthropology, philosophy, creative writing, Africana Studies, or any other area of the humanities. The mission of this scholarship is to support female students whose creativity, academic achievements, and goals reflect the issues articulated in the works and prominence of Zora Neale Hurston.
